Solar OA Calculator for Maharashtra

Enter your connection details, monthly time-of-day consumption and proposed solar capacity. The tool sizes eligibility, settles generation slot-by-slot across 12 months, and reports the energy banked, recovered and lost.

04 Banking loss
Share of annual generation that is banked but never recovered.
0.00%
of annual solar generation lost
Surplus exported in a ToD slot that cannot be set off against same- or cross-slot consumption under banking rules.

How banking loss arises: solar generates almost entirely in the day off-peak window, while a facility also draws power at night and in the evening peak. Surplus daytime units are banked, but DISCOM banking rules limit how much can be drawn back in other ToD slots — the un-recoverable remainder is the banking loss. Eligibility (Methods I & II), losses and the generation profile all shift the result; adjust them under Advanced assumptions. This is a planning estimate, not a settlement guarantee — final figures follow the applicable DISCOM tariff order and energy accounting.
